Manaus (AM) – The renowned cardiologist Dr. Aristotle Comte de Alencar Filho will launch this Thursday, August 17, 2023, at 7 pm, in the main hall of the Rio Negro Palace, the book entitled ‘Beauty Deciphered – Details of ancient art in the monuments of Largo de São Sebastião and surroundings’, edited by Valer.

About Dr. Aristotle Alencar

Aristotle Comte de Alencar Filho was born in Manaus, on April 10, 1955. Son of Aristotle Comte de Alencar and Rosa Branca de Lima Alencar.

He graduated in 1978 from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Amazonas (UA), today the Federal University of Amazonas (Ufam).

The doctor was a member of the Regional Council of Medicine of the State of Amazonas; former president of the Amazonian Society of Cardiology; former president of the Medical Association of Amazonas; former president of the Brazilian Health Association of PMs and BMs of Brazil and former president of the National Health Academy of PMs and BMs of Brazil.

He was also coordinator of the State Program for Tobacco Control at the Foundation (FCecon); member of the Academia Amazonense de Medicina; member of the Masonic Academy of Letters. He is currently president of the Academia Amazonense de Letras (AAL).

He is the author of several scientific works published in national and international journals and participant of several national and international medical congresses.
