“does not defend the poorest”

Former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL), who is being consulted by supporters to close the issue on the vote on the tax reform project in the Chamber of Deputies later this Thursday afternoon (6), again spoke out against the proposal.

In a series of posts on a social network in the morning, Bolsonaro said “no to the PT’s tax reform” claiming that the party and President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva only defend their own interests to “meet their ideology and that of their dictator friends”.

“Lula meets with the Foro de SP (created in 1990 by Fidel, FARC, …), says he is proud to be a communist, that democracy prevails in Venezuela, he is a friend of [Daniel] ortega [da Nicarágua] that arrests priests and expels nuns, and your party celebrated my ineligibility,” Bolsonaro said in the post.

He further states that the PT and President Lula voted against the installment payment of the precatorios “almost making it unfeasible for Bolsa Família to go to R$ 600” and that the party voted against the exemption of taxes on gasoline, diesel, ethanol and gas kitchen in the Senate last year.

In addition, Bolsonaro says that “they do not respect private property, as they encourage the MST to bring terror to the countryside”, in addition to disarming “good citizens, but not criminals”, they disrespect families by supporting gender ideology, between others.

Bolsonaro also criticized the “haste” in voting on the text of the project, which will have new modifications throughout the day than what was presented on Wednesday night (5). “It only brings us more concerns with the already suffering tax payers”, he added, stating that the Lula government chose a “ministry with a profile completely different from ours, a spender and without commitment to the future of its people.

The former president participates in a meeting with supporters this Thursday morning (6) with the presence of Governor Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans), from São Paulo, who has already said “95%” in accordance with the tax reform. Bolsonaro must guide the bench of 99 deputies on the vote in the Chamber.
