Discord has instability this Friday and blocks access – 09/29/2023 – Tech

Discord is experiencing instability this Friday morning (29). When trying to access the tool, especially in the Chrome browser, the user is informed that their access is blocked and it is not possible to view the pages.

The program was more stable on smartphones and the Firefox browser.

In Brazil, the DownDetector website, which monitors user complaints almost in real time, started to register an increase in complaints from 8:14 am, with the peak occurring at 9:44 am, with 1,348.

In the USA, the growth in complaints began at 6:49 am, with 4,132. The peak was at 7:04 am, with 5,717, and maintained an average between 4,000 and 5,000 over the next two hours.

Discord reported on its official account on X, formerly Twitter, that it is working to fix the problem. “We are aware of an issue preventing users from accessing the app. Our team is investigating the issue.”

At 10:12 am, in a new post, Discord announced that there was “unusual traffic” on the platform, which led to some users being blocked. In the Chrome browser, access improved around 10:15 am and complaints began to decrease in Brazil.
