Deolane sues Google for not being related to the word “bafuda”

According to the initial petition, Deolane claimed that she “can no longer bear to see her name and image related to this term” and that the situation “reached the emotional” of the lawyer, leaving her with “embarrassment in the face of such a situation”. However, for Judge Bruno Paes Straforini, who judged the action, he denied the injunction.

“The author, who freely chose to participate in a reality show with wide exposure of her private life, ended up getting involved in controversy within the program, where the topic of her supposed bad breath was the object of discord, which would be tainting her image. and reputation”, says a part of Bruno’s decision.

“The theme went beyond the limits of the aforementioned program and gave rise to a series of articles and disclosures on the World Wide Web, with the defendant only directing the search on his website to such results”, explained the judge.

Regarding the situation, the lawyer for MC Kevin’s widow classifies the association as “derogatory and untrue information”. Finally, Deolane’s team explained that the process is still in the initial phase and that the judge still needs to hear Google’s side.
