Curitiba has the first feijoada fast food store in Brazil

Curitiba is the first city in Brazil to receive a Bean Go! unit, a network of bean-based meal franchises. Launched by Caldo Bom Alimentos. The brand’s preparations promise to be without preservatives and chemical additives, with the characteristic homemade flavor.
The group invested around BRL 5 million, referring to the development, analysis and study of products, a specific line of machinery, consultancy and the first test store. This amount does not include the infrastructure of Caldo Bom’s production units, which were already in operation.

The franchise offers 14 bean-based dish combinations, served in glasses. Chef Junior Corbari’s creations are served in portions of 470 grams and vary from a traditional full feijoada to a vegan version, as well as tripe, grain mix and dishes inspired by American, Indian, Mexican and Italian cuisine – always with beans as the main star . The restaurant’s menu also includes broth, scrambled eggs, pork rinds and six dessert options.

Bean Go!, business opportunity
Data from the Brazilian Association of franchising (ABF) point out that food service accumulated BRL 35.7 billion in revenues in the first quarters of last year.
“Today, the franchise fee for our first stores is approximately R$25,000, with no royalties. Our projection of payback for the franchisee it is 18 to 24 months, with an average profitability of 20%. After signing the contract, it is possible to start the operation in up to 90 days”, details Stival.
Currently, the Bean Go! has two units, one in Curitiba and another in Ponta Grossa, and is formalizing the opening of five more stores in the state. The Curitiba store is located at Praça Gen. Osório, 145, Center.
