Manaus (AM) – Cultural spaces managed by the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy of Amazonas will have their opening hours changed during the matches of the Brazilian National Team in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. Brazil will debut in the competition this Monday (24).
According to the decree of the Government of Amazonas, there will be a change in office hours in public offices. The rule allows servers to arrive at work two hours after the end of games. In this way, on the 24th of this month, the office will start at 11 am. On the 2nd of August, the working day will start at 10 am.
The state decree accompanies the decision of the Federal Government, which also changed the office hours in matches of the Selection. Instructions regarding the hours of operation of public bodies in Amazonas are contained in the Official State Gazette (DOE) of July 19.

The Provincial Palace (Praça Heliodoro Balbi, s/nº, Centro) and the Seringal Vila Paraíso Museum (Igarapé São João – Tarumã Mirim tributary) will be open from 11 am to 5 pm. The North Man Museum, located in the Cultural Center of the Peoples of the Amazon, will not open.
Cultural Centers
The Palace of Justice (Avenida Eduardo Ribeiro, 901, Centro) and Palácio Rio Negro (Avenida Sete de Setembro, 1546, Centro) cultural centers will be open for visitation from 11 am to 5 pm. The Usina Chaminé and the Cultural Center of the Peoples of the Amazon will not open for visitation.
Galleries
Galeria do Largo, located in Largo de São Sebastião, will open normally from 3 pm to 8 pm. Casa do Jazz is open from 9 am to 9 pm.
Amazonas Theater
On Mondays, the Theater is closed for visitation. Even so, at 8 pm, there is a program for the Amazonas Green Jazz Festival, with guitarist, guitarist and teacher, Ismael Nascimento.
