The Government of Amazonas, through the Development Agency of the State of Amazonas (Afeam), reached the mark of 75 million invested, totaling 4,316 credit operations in various sectors of the economy in the first four months of this year. The resources come from the +Crédito Amazonas Program, which offers the opportunity to access financing with subsidized interest rates and flexible terms for entrepreneurs from all municipalities in the state, in the online modality, through the website www.afeam.am.gov.br .

The financial incentive made a difference in the life of Francisca Lima de Araújo, self-employed, an Afeam client since 2011, the seamstress, who has worked for over 20 years in the production of underwear, started from the dream of having her own sewing machine and this was the stimulus for carrying out the first financing at the Agency.

Currently, the entrepreneur has a small sewing studio, is on her 11th loan and is proud of having always paid her credit installments on time. “I honor my name, I was never late on any installment and thank God for that, because I paid with my seams”, she highlights.

The entrepreneur is an example of a life that was transformed through policies of social inclusion and promotion of regional development undertaken by the Government of Amazonas. initiatives such as the +Crédito Program drive the resumption of economic growth in the capital and in the interior of the state, generating employment and income.

According to the CEO of Afeam, Marcos Vinicius Castro, the commitment is to continue applying public resources responsibly. “This favorable scenario subsidizes the bold vision of the Government of Amazonas for the next four years, the goal is to invest, through Afeam, BRL 1 billion in the four-year period 2023-2026, BRL 277 million in 2023 alone”, he highlighted.
