CPFL plans to invest BRL 11.5 billion in RS within five years

As for RGE, the concessionaire supplies energy to more than 3 million customers in 381 municipalities in Rio Grande do Sul, covering the Metropolitan, Midwest, North and Northeast regions of the State. This Thursday was also held the public hearing to obtain subsidies for improving the proposed tariff review of the company.
The indices initially proposed by the National Electric Energy Agency (Aneel) forecast an average increase in electricity bills for the various consumer classes of around 6.03%. Specifically for residential customers, the impact would be 9.49%. The new rates will come into effect from June 19th. In addition to energy distribution and transmission activities, in the field of generation, the CPFL Group operates in Rio Grande do Sul with wind and hydroelectric plants.
