The new president of the INSS (National Social Security Institute), Alessandro Stefanutto, said that the body intends to call the 2,144 candidates approved in the 2022 public tender.
Stefanutto says, however, that for the hiring of new servers, funds are still needed to pay for the training course and the admission process for new employees. According to him, the procedure for hiring approved candidates is under discussion with the federal government.
In June, the INSS published the appointment of about a thousand approved in the public selection, who are now in the possession and adaptation phase after going through the course. According to the INSS, employees will work 40 hours a week, with an initial salary of R$ 5,905.79.
The hiring of new professionals has been expected for some years, due to the lack of public servants. INSS had, in September 2022, 14,500 social security technicians. The deficit reached 23,000 employees across the country, including technicians and analysts.
Authorization for naming the first approved candidates was published by the Minister of State for Management and Innovation in Public Services, Esther Dweck in June.
The final result of the contest was made official by the agency in early May, after a training course for new employees. The process began in September 2022, with the publication of the notice. The selection received more than one million candidates.
Entries and the entire selection process were carried out by Cebraspe. The initial remuneration of up to R$ 5,905.79 corresponds to the basic salary of R$ 712.61, plus the GAE (Executive Activity Bonus), of R$ 1,140.18, the GDASS (Insurance Activity Performance Bonus). Social), which can reach BRL 3,595, in addition to food stamps of BRL 458.
