The case was revealed this Wednesday by columnist Ancelmo Gois.

The condominium is located between Jacarepaguá Lagoon, Bosque da Barra and Jacarepaguá Airport. It is close to popular malls. Today it is possible to find houses for sale in the place for prices that vary between R$ 5 million and R$ 14 million.

Today commentator Carlos Alberto, who played for Botafogo, Fluminense and Vasco, had the mansion pledged by order of the Federal Justice. The attachment will serve to close (in whole or in part) a debt of BRL 2,623,016.03 with the Federal Government.

In 2022, the Attorney General’s Office of the National Treasury began charging the player’s pending issues with the Federal Revenue. The property to be pledged was purchased by Carlos Alberto in 2009.

The debt concerns the non-payment of amounts on Income Tax (IR) in several years, as well as fines applied. The case is at the 6th Federal Court of Rio.
