João Branco and Marcelo Ortega are the guest speakers at Atem’s business event
The distributor Atem promotes its traditional ‘Sales Convention’ with the theme “Accelerando Together”, this Wednesday (15th), bringing two national guests. The first guest who will open the first day of the event is the executive, João Branco, who will speak at the Quality Hotel.
During the ‘Sales Convention’ there will also be the launch of the Sales Academy, aimed at training commercial advisors. The inaugural class will take place this Thursday (16th), with specialist in successful sales techniques, Marcelo Ortega, presenting the topic “Communication in Negotiation”, in the afternoon, in the Coco Bambu training area.
Atem’s Commercial Superintendent, Alexandre Ferreira, explains that the idea of the Sales Academy is to train commercial advisors to face the challenges of the market. “The program aims to provide technical knowledge of the entire fuel trail, from formulation to use to pricing. The program was developed after internal research, listening to Atem customers and understanding the challenges they face in the market. With this, we want to help them go further and further with specialized advice”, he explains.
The Sales Academy will last for 1 year with several modules divided by specific areas. There will be face-to-face and online classes with national speakers, but also with Atem specialists. “The program will be continuous, so we will recycle knowledge over time, molding it according to the evolution of the market or its needs”, he clarifies.

João Branco, is one of the top ten marketing professionals in Brazil, according to Forbes. He was vice president of marketing at McDonald’s, professor and columnist for Exame and UOL, as well as author of the best-selling book “D[ê] Purpose: Put the right intention into your work and fill your routine with satisfaction and meaning.”
Marcelo Ortega, is a specialist trainer in the development of techniques and attitudes that determine growth, profitability and increased productivity of salespeople and related areas such as marketing, customer service, customer support, contact center, after-sales and relationship with internal and external customers .
An international speaker with more than 22 years of experience throughout Brazil, Ortega has also achieved recognition in other countries, including Paraguay, Argentina, Mexico, Uruguay, Chile and, in particular, stood out for three years in a row in Europe, Spain and Portugal , having a strong presence at the business congresses of the Porto School of Management and the International Sales Congress promoted by KLA.
