CNI opens registration for National Innovation Award

New for this year is the special category designed to recognize innovative researchers
The National Confederation of Industry (CNI) and the Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service (Sebrae) opened registration yesterday (31), for the 8th edition of the National Innovation Award (PNI). Applications are open until March 31st.
The PNI seeks to contribute to the learning process and enable the exchange of experiences, helping to identify its strengths and opportunities for improvement in innovation and innovation management.
According to CNI’s Director of Innovation, Gianna Sagazio, the purpose of the award is to recognize successful efforts in innovation and innovation management by companies, ecosystems and researchers operating in Brazil. “The PNI seeks to contribute to the learning process and enable the exchange of experiences, helping to identify its strengths and opportunities for improvement in innovation and innovation management”, she highlights.
The PNI is yet another initiative of Mobilização Empresarial pela Inovação, which contributes to the construction of a solid innovation ecosystem, in favor of increasing the productivity and competitiveness of the national economy, and the well-being of Brazilians.
The award winners will be contemplated with an immersion in the innovation ecosystem organized by CNI and with an ongoing scholarship in executive education from the National Industrial Learning Service (SENAI).
Categories
The novelty of this edition of the award is the category called “innovative researcher”, aimed at recognizing the research work carried out by scientists. Registration must be made by a company, not by the researcher himself.
The target audience of the PNI are small businesses from all sectors (commerce, industry and service) and industrial companies of all sizes (small, medium and large companies), innovation ecosystems and innovative researchers. The award categories are: Innovation Management, Product Innovation, Process Innovation; Innovation for Sustainability; and Outstanding in Occupational Health and Safety.
