The films ‘Prohibition of Dogs and Italians’ and ‘The Journey of Pope Francis’ are the highlights of the cinematographic event
Manaus (AM) – Cine Casarão, a space dedicated to the Seventh Art of Casarão de Ideias, located in the center of Manaus, continues with the programming of the 8 ½ Festa do Cinema Italiano, a cinematographic event that was born in Lisbon, in 2008, and has expanded its programming with increasing success. in different Portuguese-speaking countries arriving, in 2014, in Brazil. Starting this Thursday (13/07), ‘Prohibition of Dogs and Italians’ and ‘The Journey of Pope Francis’ will be shown.
The first screening, on Thursday, will be ‘Interdito a Cães e Italianos’, by Alain Ughetto, at 4 pm. The Ughetto family leaves Italy for a better life. Transcending all trials, they will find their safe haven in France. The re-exhibitions will be on Friday (07/14), at 4 pm, and on Sunday (07/16), at 5:30 pm.
The second screening, still on Thursday, will be ‘The Journey of Pope Francis’, by Gianfranco Rosi, at 7:30 pm. A documentary of admittedly existentialist dimensions, which creates and multiplies a valuable dialogue between the pope’s travels and the state of our world. The re-exhibitions will be on Saturday (15/07), 19h, and Sunday, at 16h.
It is worth mentioning that tickets can be purchased in advance via Instagram (@casaraodeideias) at the price of R$ 16 (full) and R$ 8 (half).
