The mission, which was marked by the explosion of the rocket, still generated a cloud of dust, with pieces of steel and concrete flying shortly after takeoff. According to the US Fish and Wildlife Service, SpaceX set fire to a state park in the region, but so far, it has not been possible to find dead or injured animals. “Other objects were flung thousands of meters away, along with a cloud of dust that deposited material northwest of the launch site,” it said.
