From today until the 14th of February, it’s even more affordable to enjoy the experience that only a movie theater can offer. Horror, action, comedy films and even Oscar 2023 nominees are on display and available for just R$10 for all audiences on several networks in the city. The action is part of the Cinema Week campaign, which was successful last year and is now being repeated. It is idealized by Feneec (National Federation of Cinematographic Exhibitors), with the support of Abraplex (Brazilian Association of Cinematographic Exhibitors Multiplex Operators).

In addition to saving on ticket prices, the public even pays less for the popcorn combo in some theaters. In the Kinoplex chain, for example, the mini size plus a 500ml soft drink costs $15.

The cinemas in Rio participating in the campaign are: Cinesystem, Cinépolis at São Gonçalo Shopping, Kinoplex (except IMax and Platinum), Cinemark (2D sessions only), UCI, NET Rio Station, Cine Araújo, Itaú de Cinema Station, Cinemaxx, Cine Show, CM Cinemas, MaxiMovie Cinemas, Cine Glória Valença, Cine Santa, Cine Reserva Niterói.

When purchasing online, there is a small fee from the company responsible for selling the ticket. For cinemas in the Cinemark network, the public must select the half-price option to apply the value of the promotion, but proof of benefit will not be required.

On the Cinesystem network, anyone who purchases a ticket online or at the box office during Cinema Week will receive a discount voucher to be used in March, any day of the week.

“Avatar: The Way of Water”

The film can be seen at this price of R$ 10 including in 3D theaters and, in some cinemas, such as UCI, in Imax and Xplus. The film was released 13 years after the first in the franchise and shows the underwater universe of Pandora.

“The Big Daddy”

And there’s a variety of films for children to enjoy as well during the Cinema Week promotion. “O grande mauricinho”, for example, shows the story of the trickster cat, who has a perfect trick to earn money.

“I Wanna Dance With Someone – The Whitney Houston Story”

The film precisely tells the exciting trajectory of one of the greatest and most famous R&B singers in the world. Actress Naomi Ackie is the one who lives the star in the feature.

“Detach!”

The new Brazilian comedy with Glória Pires and Maisa hits theaters today and already in great style as part of the campaign. The film shows how Rita, who has a shopping addiction, will deal with the news that her daughter Duda plans to leave home.

“Perlimps”

The Brazilian animation shows Claé and Bruô’s adventure journey. They are secret agents of rival kingdoms, in search of the Perlimps, mysterious creatures capable of finding a way to peace in times of war.

“M3gan”

For horror lovers, the story of the realistic doll programmed to be a child’s companion is on display. As well as the feature “Demon’s Offering”, which premieres today.

“Pearl”

And there are more horror options on the big screen. In this story, in order to have a glamorous life and freedom, Pearl becomes the villain she always feared becoming.

“Titanic”

Today, in addition to the start of Cinema Week, this classic is on display for a re-exhibition. And the good news is that it is included in the R$10. It will even be possible to check out the story of Jack and Rose in 3D.

“Puss in Boots 2: The Last Order”

The film, which is a hit with children, competes in the best animation category at the Oscars 2023.

“Everything everywhere at once”

The film shows a multidimensional adventure and has 11 Oscar 2023 nominations, including even Best Picture.
