The month of December is approaching and, along with it, the end of year parties and gatherings. Choosing the ideal restaurant to celebrate your end-of-year celebration may not be the easiest task in the world, that’s why Good Gourmet separated some addresses to help you in this search.

Whether you want to enjoy a moment with family or friends, or even celebrate the end of the year with people at work, there are many options for places to hold your get-together. Some are more affordable, and others allow for a relaxed atmosphere to have a beer and exchange gifts. But run, see! Reservations for many restaurants are already running out.

Madalosso

Let’s start with a classic. Opened in 1963, Madalosso has become world-renowned for its Italian cuisine and monumental size – it’s the ideal place for large groups of people. The restaurant operates as an all-you-can-eat restaurant, and dishes range from pasta, meat, salads, risotto and, of course, the traditional fried polenta.

The restaurant offers a special package for groups of more than ten people, priced at R$90 per person. Includes full carvery, unlimited water and soft drinks, dessert and service charge. Reservations are popular, and some dates have already been closed since June, so you need to hurry.

Lellis Trattoria

Lellis Trattoria, specializing in Italian cuisine, prepared three special menus for the end of year celebration. Available for groups of 20 to 100 people, the menus include cover charge, starter, main course and dessert. All options allow you to choose two types of pasta and two types of meat.

The first option costs R$140 per person, and includes roast lamb with browned potatoes or grilled chicken. The second costs R$ 155 per person, and includes a medallion of grilled filet mignon or fillet with parmigiana. The third option, priced at R$170 per person, has the same meat options as the second, but allows you to choose pasta with seafood.

Zapata Mexican Bar

Zapata Mexican Bar is a good choice for those looking for a more relaxed atmosphere, with pesticos, tequila and music performances. mariachis – group that presents popular music from Mexico. The bar offers the option of reservations for groups of 20 to 200 people, with a range of Mexican dishes, for the price of R$89 per person. Taquitos, pastelitos, nachos, tacos, fajitas and the typical guacamole and chili are on the table. It is also possible to include drinks in the package.

The restaurant also offers the Zapata Su Casa option, where you choose the menu and the service is carried out at the event address. There are pre-set budgets and customization options, with a buffet, Mexican decoration and presentation of the mariachis.

The Gardner

Jardineiro specializes in regional Brazilian cuisine, and was champion in the category at the 2023 Bom Gourmet Awards. It is the ideal place to enjoy live Brazilian music, with an open space and options of feijoada, barreado, grilled meats and caipirinhas. The restaurant takes reservations for end-of-year celebration groups, with the house menu or personalized menu. And during this period, O Jardineiro will serve groups at special times, such as Mondays, and at lunch on weekdays.

Market

The Mercadoteca is a gastronomic complex that has options for burgers, tacos, desserts, Arabic and Japanese food. Among the drinks, the highlights are artisanal draft beers and imported wines. In total, there are more than 20 operations. It’s a good place for a smaller holiday get-together, like a Secret Santa or happy hour Special.

Bavarian Canteen

One of the most traditional in Curitiba, Cantina Baviera has been around since 1972. The menu offers a wide variety of options, with soups, salads, meats, seafood, pasta, calzones, risottos and pizzas. As for end-of-year celebrations, the restaurant accepts reservations for groups of up to 30 people. The service is personalized, with the option of a set table and individualization of the menu, within the options already available on the menu. Highlight is the Christmas decoration, which evokes the atmosphere of the Christian festival with Germanic traditions.
