Central Bank website for consultation of amounts receivable is already congested

Before releasing the Inquiry to the Values ​​Receivable System (SVR)open at 10am this Tuesday (7th), there was already a long queue for those interested in knowing how much they could withdraw. At 9:58 am, the site created by the Central Bank (BC) for Brazilians to check money “forgotten” in banks, finance companies and brokerages was already congested. On the same page, it is possible to request the withdrawal.

The message displayed to anyone trying to make the appointment suggests that the person interested return at another time.

The alert about the congestion appears right after the user accesses and informs the CPF number and date of birth, clicking on “Access the SVR”.

It is estimated that there is R$ 6 billion to be refunded, encompassing a total of 38 million CPFs and two million CNPJs.

Redemption of ′′ forgotten values ​​′′ will only be released for those who provide a Pix key for return, the Central Bank reported. See below how to proceed.

Most have less than R$ 10

BC data also point out that while most Brazilians who have some money forgotten in financial institutions have a maximum of R$ 10 to be withdrawn, 643,105 people have more than R$1,000 to withdraw.

Most have small amounts forgotten in bank accounts or other financial institutions, such as consortium and financial administrators: 29.2 million people, which represents 62.55% of total benefits, have between R$ 0 to R$ 10 to receive.

Already 12.1 million (26.05%) must withdraw amounts between R$ 10.01 and R$ 100, while 4.6 million (10.03%) will have amounts between R$ 100.01 and R$ 1 thousand.

The best benefited portion is modest: the 643,105 beneficiaries who will receive higher amounts represent only 1.37% of the total.

How to check if you have receivables

A) If the system offers the option Apply here:

• Select one of your Pix keys (mandatory field) and enter your personal data.
• Keep the protocol number, to contact the institution, if necessary.
• In this case, you will receive the amount within 12 business days.
• Even if you indicated the Pix key, the institution can return it via TED or DOC to the selected Pix key account. The institution can contact you by phone or by email indicated by you to confirm your identity or clarify doubts about how to return it. This is a procedure for your safety and that of the institution. But don’t give passwords to anyone.

B) If the system offers the option Request herebut no present Pix key available for selection:

• Contact the financial institution directly by phone or by email provided by it to arrange the return method. In this case, the financial institution is not required to return the amount within 12 business days.
• If you prefer, create a Pix key and return to the system to request the amount.

C) If the system no offer the option Apply here:

If you want, you can display the receipt containing information about the amount to be received, the requests made and the request protocol (if you requested to receive via Pix).
