PF general director Andrei Rodrigues Amanda Perobelli/Reuters The Federal Police have already adopted procedures to receive images both from the cameras of the Rome airport operator and recordings made by private companies that operate inside the terminal – where Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), and family members were harassed last Friday (14). The general director of the PF, Andrei Rodrigues, told the blog this Tuesday (18) that the corporation made, between Sunday (16) and Monday (17), requests to the Italian authorities for police and legal cooperation. According to Rodrigues, representatives of the PF in Italy were at the airport this Sunday to identify the cameras that may have recorded images of the confusion and, later, request the preservation of the recordings. “The police are adopting their own procedures to obtain images from private companies as well”, stated the director general. “The effective receipt of the recordings now depends on the processing of the request for legal cooperation in Italy”, added Andrei Rodrigues. Also according to the director general of the PF, the attaché (representative of the agency) in Italy will work together with the Brazilian embassy in Rome to try to speed up the processing of requests for images with the Italian central authority.
