Casas Bahia and Ponto open renegotiation of customer debts – 04/21/2023 – Panel SA

Via, owner of Casas Bahia and Ponto, will file an action next week to try to reduce the default on its installment plan. The company promises exemption from interest and fines for consumers to settle their debts.

Debts can also be paid in up to 36 installments. The renegotiation campaign, which was called “Saldão do carne em arrears” will take place between the 24th and 29th of April.

According to Via, whoever decides to pay the debt in installments will have to assume a minimum down payment of R$ 20.

Corrections can be made by Pix. The use of this instant payment model has been growing on the company’s renegotiation portals, says Via. The main advantage, according to the company, is that it accelerates the regularization of CPFs, in case there has been a negative result.

The consumer is also able to release a new credit analysis more quickly. According to Via, Pix payments have grown by 40% since the modality was included in the group’s renegotiation portals.
