In the western region of São Paulo, the taqueria run by chefs Eduardo Ortiz and Luana Sabino offers five fixed flavors on the menu: Al Pastor, with pineapple and pork roasted on the “trompo” (vertical grill made of ceramic brick brought from Mexico), Asada, stuffed with meat and guacamole; chicharrón, with juicy pieces of crunchy crackling; grilled chicken thigh; and smoked mushroom mix. Prices range from R$18 to R$20. There are no waiters on site and orders must be placed at the cashier and picked up at the counter.

In the special The Best of São Paulo, Hospedaria, by chef Fellipe Zanuto, was chosen as the best restaurant to go to with the family in the capital of São Paulo. The restaurant offers a menu with recipes created by immigrants who arrived in São Paulo. Nonna’s Parmeggiana combo, made with angus breading with macaroni and creamy cheese, serves two people and includes two draft beers for R$179. Under the command of chef Mauricio Santi, Ping Yang was voted one of the best in Asian cuisine in the special The Best of São Paulo. Tappo Trattoria reopened in the Paquita Building, in Higienópolis, in the central region of the city, after the pandemic. Under the command of chef Benny Novak and partner Renato Ades, the menu offers Italian classics: ragú alla Genovese (R$ XX), with short pasta, cooked onion and meat, tomato and red wine, and Granchio (R$), a tagliarini with crab, tomato sauce and nduja.
