The queens of the drums and muses of the samba schools who performed on the first day of the Special Group’s parades in Rio opted for daring looks to shine on the Avenue. The costumes of several of them covered only strategic parts, the choice of several celebrities in Greater Rio. Check out the celebrities who bet on the second skin to cross Marquês de Sapucaí during Carnival.
Paola Oliveira
The actress and queen of drums from Grande Rio said that her biggest concern was an outfit that made her comfortable to dance the samba. She paraded in a full silver costume, with a prop on her head. The look only covered the strategic parts of the body of the 40-year-old from São Paulo.
“Ogun, my protector. Holder of the secrets of metals, of the percussions that vibrate and move our bodies. Of axé. a lot of axé!”, she wrote about the costume on Instagram.
Monique Alfradique
Betting on transparency, the fantasy of Monique Alfradique, muse of Grande Rio, represented the fires that color the sky of Rio de Janeiro on April 23, the date on which the day of Saint George, the warrior saint, is celebrated. She wore a body cut, with silver details. On the head, the adornment was silver and red.
Pocah
The funk artist and ex-BBB was one of the muses of Grande Rio. Like Monique and Paolla, the singer’s fantasy also bet on silver. Representing caviar, black also stood out in the crystals studded on the second skin, as well as the gold in the feathers she wore in a headdress.
Mileide Mihaile
Muse of Grande Rio, Mileide Mihaile won praise on social media because of her costume. The influencer and former “A Fazenda” wore a look focused on yellow, with an ultra-cut bodysuit. The outfit also had a large amount of pink feathers.
Renata Kuerten
The presenter and model Renata Kuerten completed, in this fashion show, her eighth year in Grande Rio. Her costume also used the second skin gimmick. The look, all in orange, was inspired by the song “Bagaço da orange”, by Jovelina Pérola Negra and Zeca Pagodinho, honored at the school in Duque de Caxias.
Adriana Candy
Another highlight of Grande Rio, Adriana Bombom also used a second skin to compose her costume for the show. Incorporating the Portelense eagle in the Grande Rio parade, Adriana Bombom claims that she lost 10 kilos to wear the costume at Sapucaí. The school’s honoree, the sambista Zeca Pagodinho, is a well-known Portela fan.
Erika Schneider
Erika Schneider debuted in Padre Miguel’s Mocidade Independente with a daring costume. Despite betting on the second skin, the muse said that she also used a codpiece to ensure that nothing went wrong. Erika also said that she had a problem at the airport, when changing suitcases with a girl, but everything worked out.
