On August 5th, the quartet formed by Dinho Ouro Preto, Yves Passarell, Fê and Flávio Lemos will perform at Studio 5
Manaus (AM) – In their 40-year career, Capital Inicial has avoided nostalgic moments, as if, in a way, the band took literally the verses “it’s water under the bridge / choose a road / and don’t look, don’t look back”, which are part of one of the most emblematic songs of the group: “Não Olha pra Trás”. In a way, it was this behavior that ensured the longevity of Capital. But four decades is a rare feat and the milestone called for a celebration, which unfolded on the DVD Initial Capital 4.0 and on a national tour. A tour began on the stage of Rock in Rio, in 2022, and now travels the country infecting different generations with its rock candango.
On August 5th, the quartet formed by Dinho Ouro Preto, Yves Passarell, Fê and Flávio Lemos will perform at Studio 5, in Manaus. Tickets are now available access here.
“Capital’s concerts, throughout these years, have always been intense and continue to be so, being a celebration, a catharsis. It was a complicity that we developed with the fans and, with a date as special as this one, I think everything is being amplified. The show we prepared is unbelievable”,
says Dinho.
“The art direction is by Batman Zavareze, the lights by Cesio Lima, the visual part is already breathtaking. This tour is one of the most ambitious things we’ve ever put together. It is unmissable.”
During the show, Capital Inicial “looks back”, but without becoming a caricature of itself. No wonder, the band presents hits in new versions, more recent songs and also B-side tracks — giving fresh air to the setlist.
The show has musical direction by Dudu Marote, executive production by Fernando Tidi, general direction by Luiz Oscar Niemeyer and executive direction by Luiz Guilherme Niemeyer.
Art direction is signed by Batman Zavareze, lighting design by Cesio Lima, animation direction by Eduardo Souza and photography direction by Márcio Zavareze. The arrangements are by the band itself with Dudu Marote.
