Campaign carries out vaccination in a mall this weekend in Manaus

This is the fifth edition of the “Vaccine Now!” campaign.

Manaus (AM) – More than 5 million vaccines have been applied in Manaus since the beginning of distribution. In order to meet the need to keep the vaccination schedule up to date, the “Vaccine Já” campaign continues to offer vaccination against Covid-19 in malls in the city.

From Friday (10) to Sunday (12), immunizers will be available for those aged 18 or over at Sumaúma Park Shopping, in the North Zone of Manaus. Specifically on Saturday (11), vaccination will be available at the Codajás and Governador Gilberto Mestrinho polyclinics, both in the south zone.

The initiative is part of a partnership between the State Government and Manaus City Hall. The Amazonas State Health Secretariat (SES-AM), through the Amazonas Health Surveillance Foundation – Dr. Rosemary Costa Pinto (FVS-RCP), leads the action with the Manaus Municipal Health Secretariat (Semsa). Other partners are Sumaúma Park Shopping and Câmara dos Dirigentes Lojistas de Manaus (CDL Manaus).

On Saturday, in particular, the campaign will integrate the health action “Intensifies Manaus” by SES-AM.

“This is a campaign that serves that population that cannot go to a Basic Health Unit. We are offering immunization to help the population follow the purpose of keeping the vaccination schedule up to date”, informs Tatyana Amorim, director-president of FVS-RCP.

This is the fifth edition of the “Vaccine Now!” campaign. Over the first four editions of the strategy, 6,098 people have already taken the opportunity to update the vaccination schedule against Covid-19 in malls and supermarkets in Manaus.

Those interested in vaccination need to present an identification document with a photo, CPF and the National Health Service (SUS) card. For those with the delayed schedule, they must also carry the vaccination card to be updated.
