Show at Ateliê 23 makes up the FIT Rio Preto program on July 27th and 28th
Sao Paulo-SP) – Tickets for the show “Cabaré Chinelo”, by Ateliê 23, at the International Theater Festival in , in São Paulo, sold out one hour after the box office opened, both online and in person. The presentations at FIT Rio Preto take place on the 27th and 28th of July.
The company also has a confirmed agenda in the capital of São Paulo: on July 25th, at Sesc Pinheiros. According to director Taciano Soares, the actor who plays Kafter, projection outside the state shows Amazonian theater in a consistent way.
“For a group from the North, from Manaus, from Amazonas, to be the first to sell out tickets within the programming of an international festival is historic, it is an absurd symbolism, because it speaks of the need for bridges that we need to strengthen and how little is known about the other. “We bring political relevance when talking about the other face of the belle époque in Amazonas in a place that also received the international sex trafficking scheme”.
comments the artist.
Audience success since its premiere, in November 2022, “Cabaré Chinelo” goes on to the 43rd presentation of the show with the tradition of sold-out tickets in all sessions.
Taciano Soares also says that, in addition to the presentations, he, Eric Lima, Thayná Liartes and Vanja Poty, members of the cast, participate in an action to talk about Ateliê 23’s research and women in prostitution.
“We are going to share with the public how everything was done and the work of historian Narciso Freitas, so important for the show to exist”,
advances the director.

Campaign
To raise funds for the “Cabaré Chinelo” season in São Paulo, Ateliê 23 presents, this Sunday (16/07), “Ouve Cabaré”. The show with the show’s soundtrack starts at 7 pm, at Teatro Gebes Medeiros (Avenida Eduardo Ribeiro, 937, Centro) and tickets are available for R$ 20 (half price), on Instagram (@atelie23).
Eric Lima, Sarah Margarido and Vivian Oliveira come on vocals while the band has Guilherme Bonates, Stivisson Menezes and Yago Reis. Special participation by Andira Angeli, Fernanda Seixas and Júlia Kahane
Another strategy of the group is the campaign on digital platforms. Those who contribute to the project will participate in a closed premiere session of “Desmontagem Cabaré Chinelo”.
The scenic disassembly is the presentation of the creation process to an audience, a new work that, at the same time as presenting the show, artistically tells how the construction process of the work was, the songs, the artists, the backstage, and the process of research transformation.
The “Cabaré Chinelo” has the support of the Government of Amazonas, through the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy, University of the State of Amazonas (UEA) and Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado do Amazonas (Fapeam), in addition to the National Arts Foundation (Funarte) and Fund de Ayudas para las Artes Escénicas Iberoamericanas – IBERESCENA.
