Brother of a sertaneja duo was arrested along with a portion of marijuana

Marcos Vinicius Aleixo Pinto, brother of Matheus & Kauan, was arrested on Friday (11) for attempted murder. According to the Civil Police, the 29-year-old man would have been trying to kill his ex-wife’s cousin in Itapuranga, Goiás.

Marcos’ ex-wife told the police that she was leaving his house with their 3-year-old son. At that moment, the suspect allegedly took a knife and “suddenly” stabbed her cousin on the left side of her back.

Marcos even fled the scene, while his ex-wife and cousin went to the hospital. The brother of the sertaneja duo was located in Itapuranga, along with a portion of marijuana.

“The victim is out of danger and, at this moment, will be heard at the police station”alleged delegate Giovana Sas Piloto to the website, also stating that the victim did not point out any discussion that could explain Marcos’ attitude.

Marcos was arrested red-handed for attempted murder. The knife used in the crime has been seized.

Defense attorneys for Marcos Vinícius, Dr. Lucas de Amor Anacleto and Dr. Douglas Costa e Silva, told that Matheus & Kauan’s brother was “diagnosed with ADHD (attention deficit disorder) and hyperactivity CID 11 : 6A05.Z, in bipolar disorder type II CID 10. F.32.2 and Generalized anxiety disorder”.

“On the 11th, around 11 am, the ex-wife, accompanied by her cousin, took the 3-year-old son to his father (Marcos Aleixo) to see. The moment she left, taking the child with her, the child began to cry. Marcos, when he saw the scene of his son crying, had a psychotic break, which he does not remember his later actions”.

Finally, the professionals emphasized that the brothers have no connection with the boy’s attitudes.

“Marcos has nothing against his ex-wife’s cousin, it should be noted that he has already been to the hospital and is doing well. We are going to hold the custody hearing and request the measure of confinement, which he has already agreed to and understands that he needs the said measure. His brothers have no connection with the fact, and are helping the family in whatever is necessary “.
