Bread and Cake Festival brings together 50 bars in Curitiba

Starts this Tuesday (21), the 18th Festival of Bread and Cupcakes in Curitiba. For 26 days, 50 bars will offer different preparations of the sandwich, for the single price of R$19. For the second time, the festival is also part of the Curitiba Festival program.

“This year, we will also have drinks for R$20 that will form a combo, making the event more attractive”, says Sérgio Medeiros, from Curitiba Honesta, organizer of the event. Another novelty in this edition are the names of the sandwiches that will be named after theater plays, artists or cultural spaces in Curitiba. .

Names such as Phantom of the Opera, Train of the Night, Romeo (which pairs with the drink Julieta), Life as it is, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Fallen Angel are already part of the menus. According to Medeiros, the idea is to present the city’s typical gastronomy to tourists and take the movement to every corner of the city.

Curitiba Honesta is also launching a honey mustard commemorating the 330th anniversary of Curitiba. The product will be on sale at the Souvenirs de Curitiba store, in front of Ópera de Arame, and also at other points in the city, such as the Municipal Market.

The Bread and Cake Festival runs from March 21st to April 16th and is sponsored by Destilaria Doble W., Lamb Weston and Gold Food Service. Support from the Curitiba Tourism Institute, Curta Curitiba and Abrasel-PR.
