‘Brazil loves a slutty’

After playing the aspiring singer Clóvis, who popularized the song “Sal na pele” in the soap opera “Segundo sol” (2018), Luis Lobianco is at the center of a musical plot in “Vai na fé”. This time, the actor plays Vitinho (Luis Lobianco), composer of hits by singer Lui Lorenzo (José Loreto). “It’s more of a soap opera with a musical touch, which I love. In my personal projects I also always find a way to put music to tell the stories. It became a certain brand of mine. To this day, people ask me to sing ‘Sal na pele’. But Clóvis was more like Lui Lorenzo than Vitinho. He was a ‘flopado’ (failure). He wanted to sing, but it was awful. The song only took off because it was a joke. Brazil loves a joke”, laughs Lobianco.

In the current seven o’clock plot, the character was part of the “power trio” alongside Sol (Sheron Menezzes) and Bruna (Carla Cristina Cardoso) in the past. He only started working behind the scenes alongside Lui after his failed attempt to launch himself as an MC. “Vitinho comes from the culture of the periphery, from the dances. He dreamed of being an artist, but life didn’t go the way he imagined. He’s a competent and creative guy who has this almost Cinderella dream. He thinks that one day luck will change. Maybe the author (Rosane Svartman) hasn’t done that yet?”, he leaves it in the air.
Lobianco says he got blonde to play the new character: “I wanted to do something different. I was already making some characters with the same face and decided to change”.
