Bolsa Família Calendar 2023: see July dates – 07/17/2023 – Market

Caixa Econômica Federal starts depositing the Bolsa Família for July this Tuesday (18) for beneficiaries of the social program. Contemplated families receive a minimum value of R$ 600 plus supplements, depending on the family structure.

Those who have children from zero to six years old at school earn R$ 150 more per child. Children aged between seven and 18 who are studying are entitled to R$50 more in their family income. Pregnant women also earn R$ 50 more.

The Bolsa Família payment schedule for July begins this Tuesday and runs until the 31st. It receives first those who have the NIS (Social Identification Number) ending in 1, and so on until it reaches the NIS ending in zero, whose payments will be in July 31st. On weekends, the deposit of amounts is interrupted.

Every month, the benefit values ​​are made available for withdrawal or credit in the bank account in the sequence from 1 to zero, in the last ten working days of each month. The exception is December, when payments occur until the 22nd.

Benefit was restructured and had changes in June

Bolsa Família, a program that is a hallmark of PT administrations, was replaced by Auxílio Brasil in 2022, an election year. In addition to the name change, there was a change in structure, making the health and education rules used to keep the family in the program no longer mandatory.

In January, the program was recreated, through a provisional measure signed on the 1st, when President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) took office. In March, Bolsa Família was relaunched and the government began paying R$150 per minor child in school.

The approval of the provisional measure for the benefit came only in June, due to failure in the government’s political articulation. In the same month, the Ministry of Development and Social Assistance, Family and Fight against Hunger began to pay an additional R$50 per student aged between seven and 18, and for pregnant women.

How is the Bolsa Família payment paid?

Payment of Bolsa Família is made by Caixa through the Caixa Tem application. It is also possible to receive money by withdrawing funds from ATMs, lottery shops, Caixa Aqui correspondents and Caixa branches. Citizens also receive it if they have a Bolsa Família card or a Citizen Card.

It is possible to transfer amounts in the Caixa Tem application, without having to go to an agency, but it is also possible to withdraw funds at ATMs and lottery outlets.

At Caixa Tem, it is also possible to shop online and at establishments that accept the app, and pay water, electricity and telephone bills, among other bills. There is still a possibility to transfer via Pix.

• Amount paid per person in the family (per capita): BRL 142
• Each family receives at least R$ 600, for this, there is supplementation if the minimum is not reached due to the family structure

Rules for having Bolsa Família

• The beneficiary families must fulfill commitments in the areas of health it’s from education otherwise exit the program
• Conducting prenatal care;
• Follow-up of the national vaccination schedule;
• Monitoring the nutritional status of children under seven years of age;
• For children aged four to five years, a minimum school attendance of 60% and 75% for beneficiaries aged between six and 18 who have not completed basic education;
• When enrolling the child in school and vaccinating them at the health center, it is necessary to inform that the family is a beneficiary of the Bolsa Família Program.

New rule for job seekers:

• Whoever is in the program and gets a job will be entitled to receive Bolsa Família for up to two years if they are part of a family in which each member receives the equivalent of up to half a minimum wage (R$660 today).
