He earned around BRL 5 million after winning the light heavyweight belt
The participant of Big Brother Brasil 2023, Antonio “Cara de Sapato” Jr., won the equivalent of three reality awards in just one fight.
A little over a year and a half ago, the fighter competed for the Professional Fighters League (PFL), the third largest MMA organization in the world, and earned around R$5 million after winning the light heavyweight belt.
In October 2021, Cara de Sapato competed for the category award with Marthin Hamlet, from Norway. Still in the first round, the “brother” applied a rear naked choke on the opponent and ended the fight. The victory gave him the prize of 1 million dollars (R$ 5.09 million, in today’s quotation).
BBB 23 has the highest award for the winner in the history of reality. Currently, winning the TV show earns the winner R$ 1.7 million, but it can increase each week according to dynamics within the house.
