Pregnant model went to the health center to take iron

Bárbara Evans, 32, was amazed at the repercussions of going to a health center in the city of Adolfo, in the interior of São Paulo, to take iron.

Pregnant with twins, she shared a photo inside the SUS (Sistema Único de Saúde) health unit and received responses asking if she has a health plan: “Guys, what madness! Just when we think we’ve seen it all, it appears to me [isso]. You see? My direct is full because of this”, said the model in Instagram Stories.

Ayla’s mom reaffirmed that she does have a plan:

“Guys, for God’s sake, I have my health plan and I used it in São Paulo because I was really in a lot of pain, I had to do tests on my fingernails. As I’m pregnant, I didn’t take any medication, so I had to go to the hospital to see what I could take and I told you what happened”.

Without mentioning the SUS by name, she said that she would not fail to use the health center just to go to an affiliated hospital far from where she lives: “Here where I live, there is a health center and the hospital is an hour away. So I go to the health center in my city to get my iron”.

Bárbara says that she uses the plan when she is traveling or in a place with easy access to private hospitals:

“When I’m traveling or somewhere and I need to use my plan, I use it. […] Do you think I’m going to travel an hour to get an iron? Oh guys, keep thinking, because I’m not going to”.

Claiming that it is important to have a health plan, hours later she returned to Stories and defended her followers, who had only commented on going to the health center and praising her attitude: “I’m not criticizing my two followers, I was just explaining that the same way I use my plan, I go to the health center”.
