Baby do Brasil spoke again about the controversy with Ivete Sangalo at this year’s carnival, where she stated that the apocalypse is near. The artist stated that she was “guided by God” and classified her attitude as childish. The artist claimed to have been “abducted” in 1999.

“I was laughing up there and at one point I said: ‘Oh my God, I’m so crazy’. But it turns out that I’m ‘popstora’, I’m ‘rockstora’, I was swept away’. The Rio native stated that her stories will be present in her biography, with no release date yet.

“It’s crazy what happens to me. It’s a childish thing that I have and, sometimes, it gets a little irresponsible. But God finds a way in everything”, explained Baby, in an interview with UrbNews.

“I want to say that Ivete and I are super friends, we have a great love thing. And I uploaded the video as she honored me before,” she added.

Baby admits that he caught Ivete by surprise when he spoke about the subject during Salvador’s carnival, when the singer was on top of the electric trio.

“Imagine paying homage to someone you love the most and suddenly the person talks about the rapture, and talks about the apocalypse? Sit in her chair and see the world as she sees it”, said the singer.

Ivete Sangalo and Baby do Brasil went viral on social media in a video during an interaction at the Coruja block on the Barra-Ondina circuit, in Salvador, Bahia during carnival.

In conversation with Ivete, Baby, a former member of Novos Baianos, told the revelers: “everyone pay attention because we are entering an apocalypse. The rapture has everything to happen between five and ten years. Seek the Lord while it is possible to find him. Thank’s guys”. Ivete got around the situation by responding that she would manipulate the apocalypse in reference to the song ‘Macetando’, her hit song at this year’s carnival.
