Arrested suspect’s lawyer disputes Key Alves’ team and explains why he wants ‘BBB 23’ to give testimony

After Key Alves declared on “Big Brother Brasil 23” that he saw Leandro Lo being murdered in front of her, the lawyer for the arrested police officer suspected of killing the fighter wants the athlete to give a statement. Lawyer Claudio Dalledone filed last Monday, the 6th, the request for her to be included in the investigations. To EXTRA, he explains how the current confinement can contribute to the evaluations of the process.

— The court was asked to have this seditious witness come to the file to say what he saw. We are in a first moment in which the judge will assess, listening to the witnesses, if there are signs of authorship in the evidence in the materilaidae. And it will analyze circumstances that may or may not make these qualifiers remain. Qualifiers are the aggravating factors that increase the penalty. So, at that moment, the judicial investigation is to find out the circumstances – says the lawyer.

The case occurred in August 2022. Leandro died after being shot in the head during a show at Clube Sírio, in the South Zone of São Paulo. PM Henrique Otávio de Oliveira Velozo surrendered to Internal Affairs. With that, what the defense lawyer already says is that the authorship is confessed. Materiality is the firearm used. What is at issue is the duration of the sentence proposed by the Public Ministry.

— When a sedictente (the same as alleged) testifies causing frisson, it is the obligation of the defense to call her — reinforces.

Key Alves’ team issued a note saying that the athlete was not with fighter Leandro Lo on the night of the crime, but with a group of friends. Although the confined person said on the reality show that she saw everything in front of her, the team says that she ran away and only found out about the information on TV.

“Key not involved with Leandro and neither is the police officer. She doesn’t know them. She also didn’t see a policeman shooting, she didn’t see why the fight was taking place, whether it was self-defense, whether the policeman drew his gun, or whether Leandro was at fault. She only found out after the information, on TV. Therefore, Keya commented to the Shoe what she saw, like everyone else. At the time of the incident, she just ran out like everyone else at the event – says the athlete’s advisory.

The PM’s lawyer criticizes the early and contradictory position with the athlete’s version.

— The advisory anticipates saying that she saw nothing. So these factoids need to be fought. This is up to the defence. If she saw nothing, she is doing the same as other witnesses who lent an initial version to the police, already in the disciplinary procedure they were already heard and completely distorted, they are contradictory. One more reason why the defense has an obligation to call this woman (Key Alves) to the process. She is falsely claiming on national television that she saw everything and that Leandro Lo would have done nothing. If she fails to tell the truth, she will be prosecuted on false witness.

The military police officer’s defense told g1 on August 15 that the officer acted out of “defense” after he was surrounded by six fighters. The hearing is scheduled for March 24.
