Argentina: Aerolíneas promotion brings cheaper flights – 03/12/2023 – Tourism

A promotion by Aerolíneas Argentinas offers tickets at fixed prices to Brazilians who wish to visit the neighboring country during the low season. It is an opportunity to discover other places beyond Buenos Aires, such as the glaciers of Ushuaia and the colorful mountains of Jujuy, which are also discounted destinations.

Prices for flights between April 10 and June 30, excluding Holy Week, range from US$ 180 or R$ 939 (Porto Alegre – Buenos Aires) to US$ 250 or R$ 1,304 (Brasília – Buenos Aires) . Even those who decide to travel at the last minute can take advantage of fixed prices, as the promotion allows reservations to be made up to 48 hours before boarding if there are free seats on the flight.

To extend the journey from the capital to the interior of the country, prices are also fixed: an additional US$ 50, or R$ 260, for destinations in the north (Mendoza, Córdoba, Rosario, Jujuy, among others), and an additional US$ 100, or BRL 521 for southern destinations, which include Bariloche, El Calafate, Rio Gallegos and Ushuaia —the southernmost international airport in the world.

Direct flights between São Paulo and the interior of Argentina also participate in the promotion. Without going through Buenos Aires, it is possible to go from the capital of São Paulo to Córdoba (for US$ 220 or R$ 1,147), Mendoza (for US$ 230 or R$ 1,200), Salta (US$ 250 or R$ 1,304) and Bariloche (US$ 1,304). 270 or BRL 1,408).

None of the amounts mentioned include fees, but they include round-trip travel and, as they are issued in the “plus” fare, they already include a carry-on bag and also a checked bag —which is normally charged separately. At the height of the snow season on the continent, the company will increase the offer of flights and seats between São Paulo and several destinations in the interior of the country, including direct flights.

In July, the connection with Bariloche, which normally has only one flight a week, will be daily. Still in Patagonia, San Martin de Los Andes will have two direct flights a week. Mendoza and Ushuaia will also receive two weekly flights each. Another two new weekly flights will connect the capital of São Paulo to Córdoba, with extension to El Calafate, and to Salta, with extension to neighboring Tucumán.
