Annular eclipse: See the times in the capitals of Brazil – 10/14/2023 – Science

An annular solar eclipse, that is, when the Moon covers the Sun, creating a “ring of fire”, will be waiting for Brazilians this Saturday (14). But, as always with phenomena of this type in a country with continental dimensions, not all Brazilians will be able to follow the full spectacle.

The entire national territory will be able to partially observe the eclipse. But the ring of fire, for example, can only be observed in the North and Northeast regions. The only capitals on the path to annulment are Natal (RN) and João Pessoa (PB).

Rio Branco (AC)

There will be no total coverage of the Sun. Concealment will be around 70%
