The inaugural version, launched this Saturday (30), will still undergo updates and will soon feature a room for exchanging private messages and an interactive feed. “The idea is to organize the fan club and be able to talk in a safe space. Anitta, she suffers a lot of ‘hate’ and the fans end up getting worn out by it”, says Vinícius Paulino de Souza, project manager at Assistência Virtual Empresarial de Soluções in Software (Avess), company that develops the social network. StoryTold is available for Android devices and will be released for iOS in the coming days, free of charge, but will include advertisements. Despite the short time it took to create, the platform already has more than 2 thousand users, selected through recommendations from fan clubs. By the end of October, the expectation is that the social network will reach the mark of 20 thousand users. “It’s a low target and enough for the network to remain active”, says the manager. Vinícius further explains that the stability of Anitters was fundamental to the creation of the project: “it was necessary to have someone capable of maintaining the demand of active users to make the application not only work, but also not go bankrupt”. StoryTold was developed by a virtual assistance company from Petrolinas (PE) Avess/ Disclosure Selo ‘Anitter’ To prevent haters from using the application, people interested in creating a profile on Storytold must fill out a form and go through a type of interview. The intention is to assess whether the candidate really is an admirer of Anitta. “The interviews are carried out by fans who volunteered (…) Some questions are: How long have you been a fan? Have you interacted with her? The network history is also analyzed”, says Vinícius. After approval, the user must agree with the application’s policies, only then can they access the platform. According to the company, the amount was taken from its own cash flow, without the contribution of investors. With offices in Petrolina (PE) and Russas (CE), the virtual assistance company serves small businesses in the Northeast Region. “It was a challenge because we didn’t do this type of software development (…) we focused more on accounting systems and other types (…) but we saw that it (StoryTold) was viable and that we could use it in other projects “, added the manager.
