In an exclusive interview with g1, Ana spoke about the way of seeing art, without ties or limitations of musical genres, “as long as everything is done with truth”, detailed the reasons why she decided to make a “cult” of Belchior’s work, and revealed a desire to honor other important names in Brazilian music, such as Marília Mendonça herself. “I started listening to her work, getting to know her songs better, and there was a song that really crossed my mind from Marília called ‘Exchange of sidewalk’, which is a song that she talks about women sex workers. Ana’s rapprochement with Marília happened precisely in the tribute she paid to her during the festival at the beginning of the year.
