Amounts receivable: queue drops to 60 thousand and wait is shorter – 03/07/2023 – Market

The queue for the Central Bank’s SVR (Values ​​Receivable System) dropped to 60,000 after having reached a peak of 300,000 citizens at 10:11 am this Tuesday (7), minutes after the opening of the system for redemption of values. According to the Central Bank, now, the wait is three minutes, but it reached two hours.

Brazilians with money forgotten in banks and finance companies can ask for the amount back on the website valorareceber.bcb.gov.br, from the Central Bank. In the second round of releases, the SVR paid more than R$6 billion to 40.9 million citizens.

The ransom request for money forgotten in banks and financial institutions began at 10:00 am. Those who tried to access found a message informing about the queue.

“We have a large queue to access the SVR and we know that your time is important. Please come back at another time as there are already a large number of people waiting now”, read the message.

Unlike last year, when there was a payment schedule, the forgotten money can be redeemed at any time. You must have a Gov.br silver or gold account to request payment to the bank or financial institution where the amount is.

Payment can be made by Pix, DOC (Credit Order Document) or TED (Available Electronic Transfer). Those who have Pix receive faster.

The receipt deadline is up to 12 business days for those who provide Pix key. Others who opt for other forms of payment may have to wait a little longer. At this stage, payment for heirs is also released.

The Central Bank states that it is common for systems that receive a large number of people in a short period of time to have a wait. In a note, the bank also says that it is adapting the calculation of the waiting time and believes that the queue will decrease over time and the drop in demand.

WHO CAN HAVE MONEY FORGOTTEN IN BANKS AND FINANCIAL?

Any individual or legal entity that has had a relationship with banks or finance companies at some point may be entitled to the amounts receivable.

WHERE DO SVR VALUES COME FROM?

The money to be returned by the institutions refers to:

• Closed checking or savings accounts with available balance
• Capital quotas and apportionment of net surpluses of former members of credit unions
• Unsought resources from closed consortium groups
• Unduly charged fees
• Installments or expenses of credit operations charged
• Closed pre- or postpaid payment accounts with available balance
• Registration accounts held by brokerage and dealerships closed with available balance
• Other resources available at institutions for return

HOW TO ASK FOR MONEY IN SVR

1. Go to the website valorareceber.bcb.gov.br and click on “Sistema de Valores Receivable”
2. Enter the data requested by the system, which are CPF and date of birth, for individuals, or CNPJ and company opening date, for legal entities
3. Go to “Consult”
4. Then click on “Access SVR”
5. If there are many accesses, the user will enter a virtual queue; the system will inform which position the citizen is in
6. Then enter your CPF and password Gov.br silver or gold
7. On the next page, if the money to be withdrawn is yours, choose “My receivables”; if it belongs to someone who has already died, go to “Values ​​of deceased persons”
8. Accept the “Awareness Term” and go to “Confirm”
9. On the next screen, the following information will appear: how much there is to receive, name and other data of the bank or finance company that will pay, origin of the money and additional information, if applicable
10. If the system indicates the option “Request this way”, you will need to select one of your Pix keys and enter your personal data (keep the protocol number)
11. If the system offers the “Request this way” option, but does not present the possibility of informing the Pix key, contact the financial institution by telephone or by email informed to agree on the form of return
