A group of US lawmakers has proposed a proposal for Wyoming to phase out electric car sales in the state by 2035.
According to the text presented by the parliamentarians, the proposal considers that the oil and gas industry has been valuable to the state, contributing to job creation and revenue.
Among the arguments, they also claim that Wyoming does not have the necessary infrastructure for charging vehicles and that the batteries used by electric cars contain minerals that are not easily disposable or recyclable.
Pepsi created a new lemon soda, called Starry, to compete with Coca-Cola’s Sprite brand. At launch, the product will only appear in the US market, with no plans to expand to other countries.
