Ambev’s Beer Academy has opened registrations for three new Food Safety courses, aimed at professionals in the beer industry. Both were developed in partnership with Flavor Food, a consultancy specializing in the area of food safety. Registration for the courses “Food Safety in the Brewing Process”, “Good Manufacturing Practices in the Brewing Process” and “Prevention against Intentional Contamination: Food Defense and Food Fraud” can be made on the Academia da Cerveja website, free of charge.

“The Beer Academy is committed to offering broad courses for professionals in the beer industry, democratizing some knowledge that is essential for the growth of the country’s beer ecosystem”, says Alexandre Esber, Manager of the Beer Academy.

The courses take place throughout the months of September and October, and are independent of each other. “Good Manufacturing Practices in the Brewing Process” and “Prevention against Intentional Contamination: Food Defense and Food Fraud” last 4 hours, while “Food Safety in the Brewing Process” is more comprehensive, lasting 16 hours.

The Beer Academy was created in 2020, by Ambev, and carries out projects aimed at beer education, with basic, intermediate and advanced level courses.
