By the end of the year, six more national holidays will fall on weekdays 😎. The first holiday of this second semester is the Independence Day of Brazil (7/9). Then there’s Children’s Day and Our Lady of Aparecida (12/10). Both fall on Thursdays. In November, All Souls’ Day (2/11) also falls on a Thursday, while the Proclamation of the Republic (15/11) will be on a Wednesday. Black Awareness Day (11/20), which is a public holiday in some cities across the country, falls on a Monday.
