After controversy of facial harmonization, Stenio Garcia is hospitalized with blood infection

Actor Stenio Garcia, 91, was admitted this Saturday (1) to a private hospital in Rio de Janeiro. According to the newspaper O Globo, the reason for the artist’s hospitalization is acute septicemia, a generalized blood infection caused by bacteria.

The site also says that the actor is experiencing severe pain in the hip and legs, but is conscious and breathing normally. He does not use an oxygen mask.

Although it generated controversy after showing the new facial harmonization at the age of 91, the artist’s team or the doctors who are taking care of Stenio, did not say whether the infection is related to the procedure.
