This year’s edition will discuss the evolution of the local economy until the arrival of artificial intelligence
The Brazilian Association of Human Resources (ABRH-AM), will promote on the 24th and 25th of August at the Vasco Vasques Convention Center, the 20th edition of the Amazonian Congress of Human Resources, which this year gains an acronym and is renamed CONAMARH .
With the theme “Amazon: from rubber plantations to artificial intelligence”, the event aims to provide the public with an immersion in the history of the region’s economy, rescuing the evolution from the heyday of rubber plantations to the present day, a moment in which technological innovations are a reality in the processes of small and large companies in Amazonas.
According to the president of ABRH-AM, Silvana Aquino, the program with panels and lectures will be designed from the point of view of the development of people in organizations.
“Last year, we addressed the concept of ESG (environmental, social and governance) and the impact on organizations and society. We held a large event with over 4,000 participants, including congressmen and visitors to the Expo. This year, we intend to take a journey through our own history, portraying the challenges and great results of the region’s economy, with local ‘cases’ and showing how we are today. But, above all, we keep up-to-date with renowned specialists from Brazil in the field of artificial intelligence”, he said.
In addition to the general theme of CONAMARH 2023, other matters expected to be discussed at the event are: preservation of the environment, projects with social impact, health and education, rights of indigenous peoples and traditional communities, protection of the Manaus Free Trade Zone (ZFM), technology, innovation, future work and much more.
Schedule
The event takes place every year and is aimed at entrepreneurs, leaders, HR professionals, students and those interested in learning more about the human resources area. Simultaneously with CONAMARH, the 20th Expo ABRH Amazonas will be held, a space where the public can visit company stands, food court, etc.
Access to the Expo and to the lectures at the ABRH Arena will be free. However, to attend the main lectures in the plenary, the congressman must purchase tickets, which vary between R$ 321.75 and R$ 643.50 reais. Tickets can be purchased in advance online.
