ABRH-AM holds a series of free lectures on professional careers in Manaus

At the event, 16 activities that are part of the “CONAMARH Talks” will be available, open to the public

Manaus (AM) – The Brazilian Association of Human Resources (ABRH-AM) promotes next week, on the 24th (Thursday) and 25th (Friday), from 2 pm to 9 pm, the 20th edition of the Amazonian Congress of Human Resources (CONAMARH) and the 20th EXPOABRH, at the Vasco Vasques Convention Center, in the Center-South Zone of Manaus.

The event is held annually by ABRH-AM and aims, among other objectives, to encourage dialogue and professional improvement of entrepreneurs, managers, leaders and students linked to the Human Resources sector.

Under the motto “Amazon: from Seringal to Artificial Intelligence”, the 20th CONAMARH brings as a focal approach the historical context and the current panorama on the insertion of technological tools in people management, especially in the North region.

Topics such as the adoption of automated mechanisms in work routines, Industry 4.0 and aspects of organizational culture are part of the themes of CONAMARH’s master lectures, which will feature the presence of national references in Human Resources and related areas, among them Marcelo Simonato, José Wilson, Gil Giardelli and the international presence of Pedro Ramos, from Portugal; and Brian Fitzpatrick of the United States.

Simultaneously with the 20th CONAMARH, ABRH-AM will promote the “CONAMARH Talks”. Open to the public visiting EXPOABRH and with free entry, including those not registered for the main lectures of the Congress, the focus of CONAMARH Talks aims at exposing on, among other points, subjects related to professional career development and market trends.

In all, there will be 16 free lectures facilitated by exhibiting companies and supporters of CONAMARH and EXPOABRH. The activities will be carried out in two rooms – Caboclos and Seringal – in the pavilion of the Vasco Vasques Convention Center. According to one of the organizers of the CONAMARH Talks program, the Director of Education at ABRH-AM, Vanessa Milon, being present at CONAMARH Talks will allow participants to expand their networking connections and also learn about the current scenario in people management processes.

We are going to have presentations that will talk about quality of life and mental health, as well as lectures on careers and on the role of HR. We will have lectures on sales, how to stand out on LinkedIn, among others”,

EXPOABRH

Another ABRH-AM event free and open to the public, EXPOABRH reaches its 20th edition in 2023. During the Fair, visitors will be able to learn about the news and interact with the stands of 60 exhibitors, including companies in the industry, trade and services, educational institutions, social organizations and local entrepreneurs. EXPOABRH will also have a food court with varied items at affordable prices.

According to the executive coordinator of the Congress, Patrícia Silva, the expectation is that 4 thousand people circulate through the place during the two days of EXPOABRH.

The public can expect a very rich Congress in indigenous culture and technology, both in the lectures and in the booths”,
