50 Best, the institution responsible for the annual lists of the 50 best restaurants and 50 best bars in the world, has just announced The World’s 50 Best Hotels.

The list with the ranking of the 50 best hotels in the world will be released in September. The publication will highlight the best accommodation and experiences of travelers and professionals in the area.

The managing director of 50 Best, Tim Brooke-Webb, revealed that the publication intends to serve as a reference for the hospitality and tourism market.

“The purpose of these awards is to define, lead and broaden the conversation about the future of hospitality. We want to create a unifying platform for the world’s best hotels and travel-loving consumers alike, helping them choose the best places to stay,” she says.

The ranking will be defined by the vote of 580 anonymous voters – among them hoteliers, travel journalists, educators and experienced international travelers. According to the organization, any hotel in the world is eligible for votes and does not need to meet any criteria or register.

This is the brand’s first global launch since 2009, when the first World’s 50 Best Bars list was released.
