Actor Chance Perdomo, star of the Prime Video series Gen V, died at the age of 27, victim of a motorcycle accident. The information was confirmed by the actor’s family in an official note.
“His passion for the arts and insatiable appetite for life was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will continue in those he held dearest. We ask that you respect the family’s desire for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved son and brother,” the family said.
Chance Perdomo played Andre Anderson in the popular spin-off of The Boys. The second season of the production, which was being developed, was postponed after the tragedy. “Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented artist and, more than anything else, just a very kind and lovable person,” says a note from the show’s producer.
“Even writing about him in the past tense makes no sense. We are deeply sorry to Chance’s family and mourn the loss of our friend and colleague. Hug your loved ones tonight”, added the filmmaker in the text.
Chance Perdomo was an Afro-Latino actor born in Los Angeles (USA), but raised in Southampton, England. After graduating, he wanted to study law but focused on acting. His career began when he worked at the National Youth Theater in London. In addition to Gen V, he also has important work on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
