With the right to party and record attendance at Mangueirão, Remo gains access to Series B – Diário do Amapá

Remo fans had a beautiful party this Sunday (29) in Belém. They filled Mangueirão to watch the home team’s victory over São Bernardo. The result qualified Remo for Series B next year one round in advance.

At this Sunday’s party, the club from Pará broke Mangueirão’s record, with the presence of 54,864 fans, 50,468 of whom were paying fans. The winning goal was scored in the 47th minute of the first half by Ytalo.

In addition to Remo, Volta Redonda also moved up this Sunday to Série B. This Saturday (28), Voltaço defeated Botafogo-PB 2-1, at Raulino de Oliveira, in Volta Redonda (RJ), in an upset. The access goal, guaranteed due to the remista victory, came in the 45th minute of the second half, with Keliton, from the penalty spot.

Victorious in the fifth round of the second phase of Series C, Remo and Volta Redonda are with nine points each, four behind São Bernardo-SP and seven behind Botafogo-PB, with just one game to be played. Therefore, they cannot be reached by people from São Paulo and Paraíba.
