Wilson Lima wins another political victory and Rodrigo Sá is chosen as president of the PP-AM

Manaus (AM) – The Governor of Amazonas, Wilson Lima (União Brasil), accumulated another important political victory this Thursday (16). The name chosen to command the Progressive Party (PP) in the state, the police chief and current director-president of the Detran-AM, Rodrigo de Sá, was indicated by the re-elected manager.

The information was confirmed through an act signed by the president of the party Ciro Nogueira, on the night of Wednesday (15) and is valid from this Thursday (16). Sá accumulates more than three years of experience at the head of the state traffic agency, having also held the position of vice-president of the National Association of Detrans (AND) and technical director of Detran-AM.

With the guidance of Governor Wilson Lima, he was also responsible for putting into practice the Detran Cidadão Program, with social projects aimed at giving opportunity to needy people, with the granting of training courses for obtaining the National Driver’s License (CNH), and training courses and delivery of safety equipment for motorcycle taxi drivers.

Rodrigo takes command in Amazonas, the party with the largest group in the National Congress, which gives Wilson Lima peace of mind for negotiations and even more political power in the state.
