Tarcísio signs concession for highways on the south coast – 10/02/2024 – Panel SA

The governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas, signs this Thursday (3) the concession contract for the Litoral Paulista Lot, a stretch that encompasses 213 km of highways and connects municipalities in Alto Tietê, Baixada Santista and Vale do Ribeira.

The project foresees investments of R$4.3 billion during the 30 years of the concession, which will be operated by the Novo Litoral consortium, led by CBI (Companhia Brasileira de Infraestrutura) together with CLD Construtora.

The concession includes highways SP-055 (Rodovia Padre Manuel da Nóbrega), SP-088 (Mogi-Dutra) and SP-098 (Mogi-Bertioga), which pass through the municipalities of Arujá, Itaquaquecetuba, Mogi das Cruzes, Bertioga, Santos , Praia Grande, Mongaguá, Itanhaém, Peruíbe, Itariri, Pedro de Toledo and Miracatu.

Several improvements to the highway infrastructure are planned, including the duplication of sections, as well as the installation of 15 automatic toll gantries without booths (free flow). Rates will vary between R$1.08 and R$6.29.

The government still plans to auction two other lots of highways by the end of the year: Rota Sorocabana, on the 30th, and Nova Raposo, at the end of November.

The São Paulo PPI (investment partnership program) project portfolio already has 25 projects and R$44 billion in planned investments.
