The Federal Supreme Court (STF) formed a majority this Monday (29) to make defendants over 131 people denounced by the Attorney General’s Office (STF) for their participation in the acts of January 8, in Brasília.

The trial in the virtual plenary already has the favorable votes of ministers Gilmar Mendes, Dias Toffoli, Edson Fachin, Rosa Weber and Cármen Lúcia, who accompanied the rapporteur, Alexandre de Moraes. Nunes Marques and André Mendonça disagreed with the rapporteur.

This sixth block of people denounced by the PGR is part of the inquiry that investigates the intellectual authors who would have instigated the acts, and the accusation of incitement to crime and criminal association.

With the result of this plenary session, which ends at 11:59 pm, the STF will have accepted complaints against 1,176 people. There are still another 214 cited by the PGR, but there is still no date for the analysis of this last block.
