Chief Shirley Krenak and activist Raull Santiago will be honored at an event by the Fundação SOS Mata Atlântica to be held on Thursday (25th) in São Paulo.
The ceremony, restricted to guests, will mark the release of updated data from the Atlas da Mata Atlântica and SAD Mata, tools developed by the organization that monitor deforestation in the biome.
On the occasion, the judge Elton Leme, from the Regional Electoral Court of Rio de Janeiro, and the founder of the Desengarrafando Mentes project, Thiago Oliveira, who works on the north coast of São Paulo, will also be honored.
The actor Klebber Toledo and the founder of the Sustainable Perifa Institute, Amanda Costa, will be the evening’s masters of ceremonies. The event should bring together businessmen, influencers, activists and politicians.
